Supported platforms

In general DIRAC requires compilers for C, Fortran 77 and Fortran 90/95. The program is designed to run on a Unix-like operating system, and uses MPI for parallel calculations. Optionally DIRAC can be linked to a platform specific BLAS library.
The following platforms have been tested with DIRAC04:
- PCs with Linux
- IBM with AIX
- Silicon Graphics
- Apple under OS X (10.2, 10.3)
- Sun Solaris
- HP
- Dec Alpha
The platform (including many not tested yet) should be guessed automatically by the supplied configure script.
